Wetlands reduce pollution and flooding, support ecosystems by providing essential habitat for many species, and help to provide cleaner water. The protection of these wetlands and their buffer zones allows them to flourish.
Resource delineation determines the areas of a property that fall under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and local Conservation Commission jurisdictions. This delineation is then used for appropriate site development and/or sewage disposal system design. This information can also be used to develop engineered retreat solutions in coastal locations.
BEA will prepare the appropriate document and file it with all the necessary local and state agencies. BEA will then represent your interests in a public hearing held before the local Conservation Commission in order to gain approval of the project.
